Teachers: Give Back to Yourself This School Year

Teachers face a whole different level of exposure—classrooms full of kids, long teaching days, and evenings spent grading assignments or helping with extracurriculars. To show our appreciation, we’re hosting a special Teacher Giveaway! The winner will receive an ImmunoBoost IV to redeem at any of our offices. Head to our Instagram page and check out our pinned post. It’s easy—just tag a teacher in the comments and share why they deserve to win. The contest runs through September 12, and the winner will be announced September 15.

Want to keep your faculty healthy all year? Veda Hydration can bring wellness right to your school! Email us at lindsey@vedahydration.com to schedule a pop-up wellness day. Our nurses can visit before or after school, during lunch, or whenever works best for your team. We’ll customize the experience to fit your needs—making it fun, convenient, and most importantly, helping teachers and school staff stay healthy all year long.

Parents: Stay Ahead of Back-to-School Germs

The kids are back in school, which means germs are back in the household too—first the kids catch a cold, then siblings, then one parent… and before you know it, the whole family is under the weather. How can parents stay healthy and keep up with the chaos?

IV therapy and vitamin booster shots are a powerful way to give your immune system a jumpstart. Packed with immune-supporting nutrients like vitamin C, glutathione, zinc, and B complex, our drips and booster shots help keep you energized and ready to tackle the school year. We offer different variations so you can choose the combination that works best for you and your family’s needs.

Suicide Prevention Day – Prioritizing Your Brain and Mind

Suicide Prevention Day is a powerful reminder of how critical it is to care for our mental and neurological health. Research shows that brain inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, chronic stress, and fatigue can all contribute to mood instability, cognitive difficulties, and in some cases, suicidal thoughts or behaviors. Taking proactive steps to support your brain and mind is a vital part of preventing these challenges before they escalate.

Supporting neurological health isn’t just about mental clarity—it’s about emotional resilience. Our Bright Mind Bundle is designed to nourish the brain and help stabilize mood with essential nutrients:

B12 – Supports nerve health, energy production, and cognitive function

Magnesium – Calms the nervous system, reduces stress, and improves focus

Glutathione – Powerful antioxidant that fights brain inflammation and supports detoxification

Vitamin D – Plays a critical role in mood regulation and overall brain health

For those looking to take brain support to the next level, NAD+ injections help improve cellular energy, reduce brain fog, and promote mental clarity. Supporting your mind at the cellular level can help you think more clearly, manage stress more effectively, and maintain a more balanced emotional state.

While these therapies can be valuable tools in maintaining mental wellness, they are not a replacement for professional mental health care. If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of suicide, it’s crucial to reach out to trained professionals. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 to connect with the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for confidential support. Prioritizing your brain health, managing stress, and maintaining proper nutrition can all be essential parts of a holistic approach to mental wellness—helping prevent the downward spiral before it starts.

Monthly MVP: Maeve

This month, we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on Maeve as our MVP! Maeve has been a cherished part of the Veda family for just over a year, and in that time, she has brought so much skill, warmth, and compassion to every patient she meets. Based in Ferndale, Maeve provides mobile appointments for patients in Ferndale and surrounding areas, and she’s also a familiar and friendly face at our Plymouth office every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am–5pm, helping clients feel their best with IV therapy and vitamin shots. On top of all of this, Maeve is preparing to begin her aesthetics training and will soon be offering aesthetic services after completing her training and residency—an exciting next step we know she’ll shine in!

We wanted to celebrate Maeve this month especially because it’s NICU Awareness Month. Maeve has dedicated many years to working in the NICU, including travel nursing gigs across the country, caring for some of the tiniest and most vulnerable patients. She is truly the queen of starting IVs on premature babies, so working with adults is effortless for her. Her patience, expertise, and genuinely caring nature make every patient feel seen, supported, and safe. Maeve, we are so grateful for your heart, your talent, and everything you bring to our Veda family!

What is your role at Veda Hydration? I split my time between doing mobile visits and working out of our Plymouth office every Tuesday and Thursday from 9–5.

How long have you been with the company? I’ve been with Veda for a little over a year now, and it’s been such an amazing experience.

What's your favorite IV drip or booster? My go-to drip is definitely The Works! As for boosters, it’s a close tie between B12 and magnesium—B12 keeps me energized (a lifesaver as a new mom!) and magnesium helps me get those deep, restful sleeps whenever I can.

What's one wellness tip that you swear by and always recommend to clients? Keep your body moving! Daily movement—even just a walk—does wonders for both your physical and mental health.

What’s the most memorable experience you’ve had while working at Veda? Definitely our team photoshoot. It was such a fun day to connect with everyone, laugh, and really feel like part of the Veda family.

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day? I love going on family walks after dinner. It’s the perfect way to decompress, chat about our day, and soak in some fresh air.

What’s your favorite small business outside of Veda? I’m a big coffee lover, so you’ll usually catch me at local spots like Red Hook in Ferndale or Drifter Coffee. I love supporting places with a cozy, community vibe.

What’s one unique thing about you that people might not know, outside of your work at Veda? I love getting crafty—I’m always working on a little DIY project at home.
