Start the New Year Strong ✨
A new year brings fresh motivation—and for many, that means focusing on health. Weight loss, consistent exercise, improved nutrition, and overall wellness are some of the most common New Year’s resolutions, and 2026 is the perfect time to reset and recommit to yourself.
IV therapy and vitamin shots can be powerful tools in supporting these goals. At Veda Hydration, our drips deliver hydration, electrolytes, and essential nutrients directly into your system for optimal absorption. This means more energy for workouts, better recovery, enhanced metabolism support, and an overall boost to help you stay consistent on your wellness journey.
To make it even easier for you to start strong, we’ve curated a list of local nutrition coaches, gyms, pilates and barre studios, med spas offering weight-loss support, and wellness providers like doctors and acupuncture specialists. Some of these businesses are also offering special deals to kick off the new year, so you can explore new ways to support your health and wellness goals while saving a little too.

Monthly MVP: Alyssa
Alyssa was the queen of our Plymouth office for years—and yes, Queen is actually her last name (no pun intended). While living in Plymouth, she ran the location while juggling mobile appointments and truly did it all, becoming a backbone of Veda Hydration. In the summer of 2024, Alyssa and her husband relocated for his career opportunities, first to Raleigh, North Carolina and later to Austin, Texas. While we’re so happy for them, we’ll admit we’re still a little jealous she was taken away from us and miss her dearly.
Even from afar, Alyssa continues to play a crucial role at Veda as our Nurse Manager, handling behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running smoothly. When she’s back in Michigan visiting friends and family, she opens appointment availability at our Plymouth office—so be sure to book while she’s in town. Outside of Veda, Alyssa serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Aesthetic Provider Network and enjoys exploring Texas with her husband and spending time with their pups.

What is your role at Veda Hydration? I’m the Nurse Manager
How long have you been with the company? 5 years!
What's your favorite IV drip or booster? Definitely The Works with double vitamin C and double glutathione! It hits all the bases and always leaves me feeling refreshed. Plus, the extra vitamin C and glutathione give a little boost for immunity and detox, which is always a win.
What's one wellness tip that you swear by and always recommend to clients? Keep a clean diet—it really does amazing things for your body. Also, think about getting a food sensitivity test. It’s wild to discover which foods you think are “healthy” might actually be working against you. For example, I love pineapple—but a test showed I’m highly sensitive to it!
What’s the most memorable experience you’ve had while working at Veda? My first day of training in Plymouth. Lindsey and Kanoe were helping me get started, and I was going to start an IV on my coworker Jen while Lindsey watched. Lindsey told me the catheters had blood blocks, so I wouldn’t need to apply pressure. Spoiler: she was wrong (or the catheter was faulty). Blood started gushing everywhere—but I got it under control, finished the IV, and cleaned up the “murder scene.” Definitely a day I’ll never forget!
What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day? Snuggling with my pups while watching a good movie or a reality TV show.
What’s your favorite small business outside of Veda? Frostbite Fitness Company. I’ve known the owner for years and was a member for almost a decade before moving. The community there is so special, and I always drop in when I’m back in town. Plus, their programming is amazing—you always leave feeling accomplished.
What’s one unique thing about you that people might not know, outside of your work at Veda? I love to bake! Right now, I’m really into sourdough—bread, bagels, cookies—you name it.
