May is here, and you know what that means — it’s time to show some extra love to our incredible Veda nurses! From May 6–12, we’re celebrating Nurses Week, but honestly, they deserve a standing ovation all year long. These rockstars keep us hydrated, glowing, and feeling our absolute best. If you have an appointment this week, don’t forget to wish your nurse a Happy Nurses Week — they’ve more than earned it!

Google Review: Leave us a Google review and get $5 off your next IV. Your feedback helps us grow and improve, and we want to say thank you!
Monthly Membership: If you're regularly getting IVs from us, lock in a once-a-month IV to save 10% on your monthly IV. It's a great way to stay consistent with your wellness routine and save money.
Series Packages: Purchase a pack of 4 IVs to be used within 6 weeks and save 15%. This is ideal for clients who know they'll need multiple IVs in a short period, like those undergoing a rigorous workout program or recovering from a medical procedure where consistent hydration and nutrient replenishment are crucial.
Group Discount: Gather a group of 4 or more and enjoy 15% off each IV treatment.

5/8 from 4pm–7pm: Nurse Ashley @ The Beauty Parlor – Join Nurse Ashley for a Pre-Mother’s Day Pop-Up at The Beauty Parlor in Grosse Pointe Park. Treat yourself (or your favorite mama) to booster shots, discounts on select IVs, and a little Botox beauty boost. 5/10 from 10am–3pm: Nurse Melissa @ Good Grounds Coffee Company – Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend at the Mother’s Day Market with Nurse Melissa! Sip on the best local coffee, snack on fresh sourdough baked goods, and shop from 30 amazing local vendors. While you're there, stop by for booster shots and discounts on select IVs to treat yourself (or your favorite mama) to some well-deserved wellness. 5/16 from 3pm–6pm: Nurse Lindsey @ Detroit Beauty Collective – Pop in for some pampering with Nurse Lindsey! 5/31 from 1pm–8pm: Nurse Evelyn @ Southfield Pavilion – Come hang with us at the Motor City Mommy Expo, one of the most family-friendly events of the season! With live music, amazing food, a play zone for the kids, and over 100 vendors, there’s something for everyone. While you're out enjoying the fun, swing by Nurse Evelyn’s booth for booster shots or a discounted IV—the perfect way to recharge while the kids play.

If you’ve been with us for a while, you probably already know and love Nurse Karlie! She’s been part of the Veda family since nearly the beginning and brings years of nursing experience across multiple areas of medicine. She’s not only one of our most knowledgeable and trusted team members—she’s also part of a dynamic duo. Karlie and her husband, Matt (aka our amazing paramedic!), serve clients in Royal Oak and the surrounding areas, bringing wellness straight to your doorstep.
When she’s not taking care of patients, she’s busy loving on her sweet baby, born last fall, and spending time with the bestest pup ever—Rocky. We’re so lucky to have her (and her whole crew!) as part of the Veda fam.

What’s the most memorable experience you’ve had while working at Veda?
Doing IV's backstage for one of my most favorite artists and their band =)
What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day? Taking a long hot shower, eating a good meal, and rotting on the couch watching something mindless.
What’s your favorite small business outside of Veda?
Too many to name really, but the top one that comes to mind is Dr. Green Mom! Not sure how "small" it really is - but it's been a life saver for me to have so many natural supplements and vitamins for baby Thomas, myself and Matt, too! Clean and safe products for baby, to build his immune system and to avoid pharmaceutical garbage as much as possible.
What’s one unique thing about you that people might not know, outside of your work at Veda?
I was born on April Fools' Day
I have flat feet (one has been surgically reconstructed)
I tore my ACL at my Bachelorette Party, while dancing on a moving Peddle Pub in Detroit ... it's funny now, it wasn't then, lol!
